| I have served on several Boards of
Directors including being President of the Board of Directors of the
Coronado Tennis Association for 5 years. During that time we increased
membership to over 250 families, completed a rehab of the tennis facilities,
instituted the Coronado City championship tournament, added a sanctioned
junior tournament, ran children's "learn to play clinics", negotiated a
joint use agreement with the Hotel Del Coronado and increased the weekly
Saturday team tennis roster to over 80 players. I am a past member of the
San Diego Tennis and Racquet Club and once I moved from Coronado, I joined
RPTC with Patsy (PJ) Rousseau, my better half. We have played on several
USTA teams including the one captained by your current illustrious leader,
Jim LaGrone. I own my own company and I believe that I can offer my
experience with membership, facilities, tournaments and event planning as
past President to the current membership. I would appreciate your vote! |

My husband, Mike and I have been members of RPTC for 7 years.
We are both active tournament players and are involved in many activities of the club. I'm currently serving on
RPTC's Board of Directors as Membership Director and would like to continue for a second term to help RPTC continue to grow
in a healthy direction.
A software engineer by trade, I am developing an on-line court reservation system for the membership which will be released
by the club later this year.
For the past four years I have volunteered on the RPTC Tournament Committee, maintaining the draw, and will again serve as
Tournament Director for both RPTC Junior Tournaments this year. Additionally, I am working with the RPTC Members Only Tournament.
I would like to continue the Board's efforts to build two new courts and now, as Co-League Coordinator, to continue to provide
equality and competitiveness to all of our women's league teams. RPTC is a great club with an amazing membership.
I would feel privileged to serve a second term on the Board of Directors.

| My love for the sport of tennis lead
me to join the Rancho Penasquitos Tennis Center in 2003 and I have been
a member ever since. Playing at RPTC has been an enjoyable experience.
There are so many members with various skill levels to play with.
Playing here has definitely enhanced my tennis skills. I would like to
give something back to our organization in the way of my time and energy
to serve RPTC members by serving as a member of the Board. As a member of RPTC,
I have played on the Sunset League, the USTA Ladies and Mixed Doubles,
World Team Tennis, the Friday night mixed doubles, the Ladies Competitors
league and the Sunday morning Doubles without Partners. I have also played
in various USTA sponsored tournaments. My wish is to have your support so
I can serve on the Board to support and enhance our members experience in
RPTC as we continue to compete in our favorite sport, tennis.

| I grew up in a tennis family,
learning to play the great game of tennis at age eight. I have been a
member of RPTC for 4+ years, and I am actively playing and captaining
on various leagues as well as USTA sanctioned tournaments. I feel that
RPTC is already a great club, and I would like to make sure that our
club continues to grow and move forward in the right direction. I would
strongly support activities to improve member interactions and help
support fundraising efforts for our new courts and clubhouse. |

2007-2008 RPTC Experience: RPTC Board of Directors, Recording Secretary, Women’s League Coordinator,
RPTC Adult Tournament Director, RPTC Junior Tournament Committee member, Search Committee for New Club Administrator,
Captains Committee member. RPTC is a wonderful organization and I feel very lucky to be a part of it.
It would be an honor to serve a second term on its Board of Directors. We have made important strides in working with the City and
in securing responsible funding for two new courts at RPTC. I hope to provide continuity and continued efforts to accomplish this
goal in as short a period of time as possible. I believe strongly that a board’s first obligation is to the needs of its members,
including the support of all RPTC policies, which are designed to promote fairness to all players.
With almost 20 years of experience in serving on non-profit community boards, I tend to be financially conservative,
flexible when considering board issues and open to new ideas.
Additional Non-Profit Board Experience with last position held: - Community Association of Bernardo Heights (Vice President)
- Southern California Youth Ballet (President)
- San Diego Bar Assoc. Auxiliary (President)
- PTA (President)
- Junior League of San Diego (Membership Director)
- Casa de Amparo Auxiliary (Ways & Means Director)
- LEAD San Diego (‘92 Class)
- Bernardo Heights School (Budget Committee)
- Voices for Children (Committee Chair)
- San Diego Grantmakers (Steering Committee)
- Bernardo Homeowners Corporation (Board Member)

| I enjoy being a member of a club that is inexpensive, in a great
location and has so many opportunities for both competitive and social
tennis. I’ve been a member now for over five years. During this time
I’ve participated in Men’s Leagues and have been fortunate enough to
go to sectionals three times.
I believe there are other vehicles to get together and enjoy the
company of the varied and interesting membership. I would like to see
events like I’ve heard about from other clubs take place. Barbeques,
fun tennis events, watching professional tennis on a big screen (we
could put up a tent so that we could see the picture) would be some
examples. I’m open to suggestions from members or these types of
events as well as the small things that make the club more enjoyable
such as the schedules that have been put up on the upper courts. I
also would like to help bring about some of the larger goals such as
the two new courts and if not a clubhouse maybe a “virtual clubhouse”
of some sort that would allow for equipment and clothing to be sold at
the club. I’m sure some of the local tennis shops would be happy to
bring some items by for something like this from time to time.
I volunteered in Boy Scouts for seventeen years and have served as the
Committee Chair for my youngest son’s troop for 4 years. Now that my
sons have grown up I have more time to devote to tennis.
I’m excited about the possibility of being part of the future of RPTC. |

| I am a retired school teacher and
have been a member of RPTC for many years. I play on several ladies
leagues and have been playing with the DWOPS ladies for years.
Recently, I have participated in the mixed doubles socials on Fridays
and have had a great time. In the past, I have taken lessons from both
Sam and Tammy, thus have experience with the professional side of the
club. A tennis club has both a social and a competitive function and
must balance the two. I believe this can be done in a calm, reliable
fashion as long as we all look to the good of the club as a whole.
